Finances: Barry
Metzger gave a report to the congregation on May 4.
From the previous month, we are "in the black". Pledges
and plate offerings are meeting the budget. Financial
status reports will be given to the congregation on a
regular basis.

Worship: The Interim
Council voted to include a Children's Time during Sunday
worship beginning May 11.

Christian Education:
Adult Sunday School is averaging 37-40 each week.
Children/Youth Sunday School is averaging 22 each week.
VBS chaired by Anne Schorle is scheduled for June
23-27. The theme this year is Power Lab and we will
also be supporting 2 missions. Ages 4-5th grade are
invited to attend. Registration forms are available in
the office. Please contact Anne if you can volunteer to
help in this exciting week in the life of Covenant.

Mission/Outreach:
This committee is very active. We have welcomed Emerson
Wilson and his wife Martina, Yoli and Plinio Herrera
from our Sister Church, El Divino Salvador, a group of
Covenant members have visited Mission Peniel in
Immokalee. We also voted to receive offerings for
Myanmar/Burma relief effort. The basket is in the rear
of the Sanctuary on Sundays.

Property: THANK YOU
to 17 hardworking committee members. We can see the
difference. Signs have been painted. Buildings have
been pressure washed. Painting has been done. Flowers
have been planted. Etc., Etc., Etc. Great work!

Fellowship: Pot Luck
for 5/25. Planning a meeting with the Edison Park Board
on June 5. Many events planned for the future. Watch
the bulletin, Clarion and e-mails for events.

Spiritual Care:
Prayer Shawl Ministry displayed their ministry for all
of us to see in the courtyard on May 11. Many of the
shawls were on display. Please let the ministry know if
you know someone that needs a prayer shawl or if you
would like to make a donation to their ministry so they
may purchase yarn for the shawls.

New members were
welcomed to our meeting and the Administrative
Commission received 6 new members at their meeting
following the Interim Church Council. Welcome to our
new members!
